Indian Match Box label Art Shop

The goal of this blog is to share what I'm currently thinking about in terms of trends, a garment or accessory, street fashion, or something that I've seen on television or a magazine. Also, I would like to share a few fashion tips and creative painting projects that I'm working on, have done, or planning to do.

A long time ago, in a very distant era, matchboxes were a real medium of graphic communication in the world, even in India. These labels will also tell stories of early Indian merchants, religion, mythology, art and architecture, kings and courtesans, advertisements and imitations seen on match labels.

I offer you an exhibition of enlarged visuals of these matchboxes to immerse you in this culture of image and communication in India during the event: India Calling #4 at Ground Control, in Paris from 27th to 28th April 2024.
